The 12 Dimension Reflect

Chosen Dimension's: 1- Growth
                                   2- Outlook
                                   3- Expression
                                   4- Decision Making
                                   5- Communication
                                   6- Accountability

Part 1

The self-culture profile shows my personal result in a work environment. Based on that my destiny dimension is directive, which means that I tend to shape my future at work to fit my goals. In addition, to that I like to have a room to express my idea and opportunities to be a part of decision making processes. Furthermore, I’m more into rules when it comes to making decision. Mean’s I rather to work by the rules and low. Moreover, when it comes to communication I like to communicate in a direct way. However, sometimes I briefer an indirect way of communication. Overall, the self-culture profile gives a summary of my personality at work.

Part 2

I agree with my self-culture profile result because it does describe me will. For example, it shows that in the growth dimension I’m in the meddle which means that I’m neither too personal nor material. In addition, my outlook dimension is 2 to worth the tradition. Mean’s, that I like to look at my past achievement and I take my future potential needs in to consideration. Moreover, it also shows that I can reveal and conceal my expression’s depending on the situation it self.

Part 3

I think that my self-culture profile result will be changed in 5 years because I’m not 100% satisfied with my result and I would like to change some dimension such as, communications and accountability. Firstly, in communication I’m more into the direct way, but I rather to be in the meddle between direct and indirect way. The reason behind it is that I want to communicate with the people around me depending on the situation. Finally, accountability I’m in the middle between individual and community, but I prefer to be more in to community because I want to be more responsible when it comes to the group. In conclusion, I think that no one is perfect and we have to accept our self as we are. However, we have to change whatever pother’s people (what ever actions that make you rude).

Furthermore, English people culture is more into accepting the life changes and development, while Amish culture is more into traditional outlook.

Exercise #2

Emirati women and workforce in a clash of culture

What is the conflict? Why?
Same Emirati families are preventing their daughters or wife from working in a mixed environment. The main reasons for this our traditions and religion’s are against the idea of woman working with men in the same place.

What is the cultural view behind the conflict?
Those Emirati families do not accept the idea of woman working in a mixed environment, to them it an issue of honor, shame, and following tradition. This kind of families think’s that if one of there family woman worked in a mixed environment she will infect the family name with shame.

What is the best solution?

In this kind of problems the woman should face her family and convince them that now a day’s the every thing is changing as will as people point view of a workingwoman, and there is same company’s that has a private work places for women.
